ST5484E

ST5484E Velocity 4-20 mA Vibration Transmitter

Loop-powered Transmitter

Model ST5484E is the ideal solution for sensing vibration on most plant equipment. This precision case mounted vibration sensor and signal conditioner in a single package is built to provide years of reliable service. A simple two-wire loop signal proportional to velocity is generated for transfer to a programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS) or other 4-20 mA input devices. Simply mount the transmitter on the machine case, connect the 2-wire loop and read and/or record the vibration. Model ST5484E Is made with our patented IPT® technology which eliminates wiring polarity errors.

162VTS

162VTS Slim Style Loop-powered Vibration Transmitters

 (48)
The 162VTS is the ideal solution for sensing vibration on most plant equipment. It generates a two-wire loop signal proportional to velocity for transfer to a programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS) or other 4-20 mA input devices. Simply mount the transmitter on the machine case, | connect the 2-wire loop and read and/or record the vibration.

ST5491E

ST5491E Vibration Transmitter

Model ST5491E is the ideal solution for sensing vibration on most plant equipment. This precision case mounted, indicating velocity vibration sensor and signal conditioner in a single package is built to provide years of reliable service. A simple two-wire loop signal proportional to velocity is generated for transfer to a programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS) or other 4-20 mA input devices. Simply mount the transmitter on the machine case, connect the 2-wire loop and read and/or record the vibration.

5550

Vibralert Mechanical Switch

The Model 5550 vibration switch is designed to meet all requirements for mechanical switches in a single, affordable package. This unit provides economical vibration protection for low to medium speed machinery, An inertia sensitive mechanism activates an snap-action switch with SPDT output contacts if the vibration exceeds an adjustable setpoint. The Model 5550 contacts can be used to activate an alarm or initiate equipment shutdown. The housing is weatherproof with an optional hazardous area rating. Electrical (remote) reset with start-up time delay and a second set of SPDT output contacts to accomodate DPDT needs (e.g. separate trip and trip light circuits) are available.

ST6900

ST6900 Series Compact Transmitters

 (30)
Loop-powered Transmitter

ST6900 Series case mounted transmitters interface directly with PLC, DCS, and 4-20 mA input monitors. The compact size allows for installation in tight places. Model ST6911 is 4-20 mA proportional to acceleration while Model ST6917 is proportional to velocity.

These units feature Metrix proprietary independent Polarity Terminal (IPT®) which allows for error-free wiring. Each ST6900 Series transmitter has the most stable detection circuit available due to built-in protection against temperature shock, and high accuracy at low frequencies by preventing the "ski slope" problem.

IT6810

IT6810/6811/6812 Mechanical Looseness Detectors

 (9)
The Model IT6810/6811/6812 Impact Transmitter uses new technology to measure impact severity on reciprocating machinery.

Impact is a proven method of detecting mechanical looseness on large reciprocating compressors. The Impact Transmitter combines the benefits of this measurement with the convenience of 4-20 mA loop powered sensor technology.

It has a built-in piezoelectric crystal sensing element, and uses a timing function as part of its severity determination. An impact event counter and memory device is used to record events meeting a preset amplitude threshold level.

The 4-20 mA signal represents the number of impact events above the threshold level that occur within a preset time window called the reset ...

6850

Impact Meter

This impact meter is designed for quick check out or adjustment of Metrix Impact transmitters, either on an operating machine, or with the transmitter removed. Simply connect the Meter to an Impact transmitter, toggle the Power switch, and select Pulse-Time, 4-20mA, or Peak Detect mode. In Pulse-Time mode, the transmitter’s Threshold level (milli-volts), and Sample Time (seconds) are displayed, and may be adjusted while observing the changes. Switching to 4-20mA mode displays the current output directly, while Peak Detect mode displays the peak vibration level, in milli-volts, detected by the transmitter.
